Winter Guard Membership
ALL members of the Winterguard are required to purchase a windsuit. Cost is $40.00 for the two-piece lined suit. Order forms are available in the band room. There is an additional $15.00 charge for embroidery.
Membership Fee: There is a membership fee for Winter Guard. Details will be posted soon.
Membership Requirements:
1. Students must be present at all rehearsals and performances (no exceptions).
• Commitment doesn’t mean starting something unless you are willing to
finishing it with the same dedication that you started it.
• No one is allowed to give up by saying “I can’t.”
2. You cannot have a failing grade in any class
• This is a requirement from Winter Guard International and Vandebilt
3. Students will not irritate instructors or other students – positive attitudes only.
• Respect for everyone is required. Negativity will only slow us down.
• “Yes sir,” “no sir,” type responses are required.
• No talking back to instructors or parents for any reason what-so-ever.
4. Practice at home
• “What if everybody in guard was only as good as me?” – How good you are
determines the outcome of the success level of the entire group.
